Chris Matthewman makes poetic theatre.

A spoken-word artist, storyteller and songwriter, he is a former Bard of Northampton, a two-time winner of the Feast of Fools Great Lying Competition, and has previously held the world record holder, for travelling from Land’s End to John O’Groats by local and regional bus services.

He is also the founder of the Get The Word Out writing groups in Northamptonshire and Kent, and (new for 2027) the Get The Word Out writing retreat somewhere in Sweden.
